Beg no one to stay When they decide

All love that has not friendship for its base Is like a mansion built upon the sand.

A long time have I known you… Why, Full eighteen years, I must confess!

Kiss someone who makes you feel their magic in your bones

With what stillness at last you appear in the valley

What can be said in New Year rhymes, That’s not been said a thousand times?

When my soul touches yours a great chord sings! How shall I tune it then to other things?
